The Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Head of Venture Incubation & Acceleration to lead IoT Tribe’s growth in Ireland, through the delivery of multiple innovation programmes, with a primary focus on a new Dublin-based corporate incubation programme. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines programme leadership, team coaching and stakeholder management to drive measurable outcomes for our corporate and startup partners. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for designing and delivering structured incubation journeys that transition employee-led and external ventures from concept to validation-ready propositions.
Working from Trinity East, you will serve as the main point of contact for programme participants, corporate innovation teams and governance bodies, ensuring seamless delivery and high participant satisfaction. Concurrently, you will lead on pursuing other opportunities to expand our footprint in Ireland. This role is ideal for a hands-on innovation practitioner with strong connections with corporates, tech, R&D and investors who thrives in fast-paced environments, balances strategic thinking with tactical execution and is passionate about supporting entrepreneurial talent to create high-growth, high-impact ventures.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of IoT Tribe’s accelerator programmes, refining programme curricula based on cohort needs, client priorities, and emerging technology trends and managing programme timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Conduct assessments to identify team strengths, gaps, and development needs, followed by weekly 1-on-1 coaching sessions with venture teams, review progress and adjusting action plans as part of a stage-gated process.
- Guide development of investor-grade pitch decks and business cases for corporate governance boards and manage handover processes to venture building teams or corporate business units
- Build and maintain relationships with mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners across Ireland and Europe
- Work closely with the DoO to ensure operational excellence across all touchpoints, gathering quantitative and qualitative data to assess programme impact and identify improvement opportunities
- Work with the rest of the Tribe team to Identify and pursue business development activities including proposal development and client presentations and represent IoT Tribe at ecosystem events, panels, and networking opportunities Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Essential
- 5-10 years’ experience in startup acceleration, corporate incubation, or venture building
- Relevant experience of working in technological environments, preferably deeptech, and a demonstrable ability to leverage technology (eg. automation of workflows, dashboards…)
- Network of mentors, investors, and subject matter experts in relevant domains and stakeholder management skills across multiple organisational levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent projects
- Track record in consultative business development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
Highly desired
- Experience working with large corporates on innovation programmes
- Knowledge of energy, utilities, or climate tech sectors
- Familiarity with Irish and European innovation ecosystems

The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Venture Incubation & Acceleration Associate to serve as the operational backbone for IoT Tribe’s innovation programmes. This role combines programme operations, platform management, stakeholder coordination, and data management to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional participant experiences across multiple concurrent accelerators.
Your primary focus will be supporting the delivery of a flagship corporate incubation programme, while also contributing to IoT Tribe’s broader portfolio of acceleration activities.
Working from Trinity East, you will manage logistics, maintain digital platforms, coordinate mentors and experts and gather the data that drives programme improvements and stakeholder reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating structure, maintaining systems, and ensuring that complex programmes run smoothly. You will be detail-oriented yet able to see the bigger picture, comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations for multiple IoT Tribe accelerator programmes, managing logistics including workshop spaces, meeting rooms, and collaboration facilities at Trinity East and other venues
- Coordinate participant onboarding processes, ensuring all teams have access to materials, templates, and resources
- Maintain programme schedules and ensure all stakeholders are informed of key dates, deadlines, and deliverables
- Support event coordination including webinars, networking events, pitch days, and ecosystem gatherings
- Create and maintain accelerator programmes on IoT Tribe’s digital platform (Tribe Space), setting up role-based permissions, templates, forms, and workflow rules for each programme, managing participant access, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide platform training as needed
- Coordinate mentor matching processes, ensuring appropriate expertise is aligned with venture needs, managing IoT Tribe’s mentor network and expert booking systems
- Support recruitment of new mentors and experts across relevant domains and facilitate mentor onboarding and provide briefing materials
- Gather quantitative and qualitative KPIs including application volumes, participation rates, completion metrics, and engagement data, to support preparation of monthly management reports and quarterly stakeholder presentations
- Support recruitment campaigns including application toolkit distribution and office hours coordination and support alumni engagement activities and innovation ambassador networks
- Coordinate with Marketing & Communications team on programme promotion and ecosystem updates

- 3-5 year’s experience in programme management, operations, or coordination roles, ideally in innovation programmes, accelerators, or complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and process-driven mindset
- Strong technical proficiency with digital platforms, project management tools, and office software
- Experience creating and maintaining structured processes, templates, and workflows
- Excellent coordination skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Proactive and self-directed with strong problem-solving abilities
Highly Desired
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or community management systems
- Familiarity with startup or innovation ecosystems
- Background in event management or logistics coordination
