We currently have an open position for a Venture Builder.

The Role

We are looking for an energetic team player with a can-do attitude to support our programmes. Ideally, you will have a varied skillset and a demonstrated interest in new technologies and entrepreneurship.

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, your duties will be varied and match the pace and needs of the programmes we deliver. They may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Designing and leading the delivery of accelerator programmes working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve tangible results, and ensuring that IoT Tribe’s mission of developing global, resilient tech ecosystems is achieved
  • Supporting IoT Tribe’s startup founders during our programmes and ensuring that the collaboration and support continues for the Tribe’s alumni community
  • Working closely with colleagues in other IoT Tribe’s locations to support the key business activities that drive progress and support day-to-day operations 
  • Supporting the Head of Sustainability in the delivery of the flagship Net Zero Tech Alliance programme
  • Providing line management duties and support to a junior member of staff while ensuring that their actions and objectives are aligned with the company’s key activities and priorities

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a creative and driven individual who has a track record of turning possibilities into tangible outcomes

  • Self-motivated: it’s important you can organise and prioritise your own workload and successfully complete assigned tasks on time in a guided but autonomous way
  • A team player: you are committed to the company and are able to work in a team
  • An exceptional communicator: you know how to make attractive presentations and compelling emails to potential partners
  • Digitally literate: you have a thorough basis of computer applications used in the start-up or technology business
  • Education: degree level in a relevant field
  • Work experience: technology/engineering background desirable 

You will also be a firm believer that anyone can play a valuable role in technology and will strive to make sure that communications in any format are inclusive and invite diversity.
